About Farnoush

Farnoush was born in the north of Iran ( Mazandaran ) close to the Caspian Sea. Her mother Arefeh Kalirad Savadkouhi introduced her to classic poetry books like Rumi & Hafez at the age of 13 & the result was, Her becoming a poet. While growing up in the north she continued writing poetry & drawing imaginary subjects & characters. Farnoush started studying Microbiology at the university but since she did not feel any connection between her desire to art and what she was studying, she quite microbiology and started to Study interior design & then Architecture in Iran.

Career

Throughout her teenage years Farnoush was doing modeling for the local brands as a hobby job in Iran. She decided to move to Germany in 2014 and started her international career at the age of 28 with MMG models & Brave Models.

In her career since then she was compared to Sofia Loren & Cindy Crawford because of Similarities in their features with the model, specially in the editorial story “Bella Bellissimadone by Elle Denmark September issue 2018 (shot by Signe Vilstrup that also shot the Gmalour magazine italia ‘a cover featuring Farnoush) which the photographer gave Farnoush the nickname of “the Iranian power house“.

Career

She rose to fame in 2016 after surviving a very bad health condition caused by a serious brain infection. The survival process made her to change her life and brought her back into the fashion industry & now she is one of the middle eastern models that represents women from the region. Middle East knows her as “The Dolce & Gabbana Girl” since the brand discovered her in November 2016 to put her in-front of Luca Morelli & Alessandro Morelli‘s (Morelli brothers) camera alongside Anna Dello Russo for their Middle East campaign & continued working with her in their #DGlovesbari Italian campaign in July 2018.

Magazine

Farnoush has appeared in vogue Arabia in 5 different issues only in less than 2 years. She has also appeared in Harpers Bazaar magazine multiple times. Glamour magazine Italia gave her the nickname of “black fairytale” in the 2018 August issue’s article & interview & lofficiel italia dedicated 6 pages of editorial & interview of their 2018 September issue to her.

She walked her biggest runway show in Milan for Elisabetta Franchi spring/summer 2019 alongside daphne Groeneveld  & Alanna Arrington . However her breakout season was the Arwa al Banawi ‘s fashion show in Dubai fashion week ( March 2017 ) that took her on top of the newsfeed chart of snapchat with the title of “Femenism takes form on the runway”.
